We are pleased to inform that the Council is creating Special Products specific Groups for select items.  The groups will help members to discuss various issues and export promotion activities in respect of specific items of export potential.  The council is initially proposing to form groups for :

1. LED Lights / other Lights and

2. Solar modules/ products

ESC with the help of group members will promote export of such items by way of special delegations abroad and organizing Exhibitions in group specific trade fairs under subsidized participation fee scheme of this Council. The group will also discuss various issues with regard to export and manufacture of group items. This Council will organize meeting of the industry representative with the senior officials in the concerned ministries so as to remove bottlenecks in manufacturing and exporting of the group items.

We invite members exporting / manufacturing the above items to join these groups and forward your valuable suggestions to enhance export of above items.  The group members can decide particular Trade fairs where in the council will organize members participation at a subsidized participation fee.  (As per the condition of subsidized participation there should be a minimum of 15 companies participating in any trade fair). The groups will discuss various issues hindering export of the Group items and ESC will organise meeting of the group representatives with the concerned Government Officials so as to remove bottlenecks in manufacturing and export of the group items.

Members are also free to suggest new groups they wish to be formed.   We expect that there should be at least 20 companies in each group.
