Data Entry / Operator

Job Summary / Objective:

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in the company’s databases and systems. The role ensures data integrity, efficiency, and confidentiality while supporting various administrative and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Enter, verify, and update data into company databases or spreadsheets.
  • Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical records.
  • Generate reports and assist in preparing data summaries as required.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely data submission.
  • Perform regular backups and data cleaning activities.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Support general administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Graduate degree in any discipline.
  • Basic understanding of data management systems.
  • Certification in computer applications (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong typing speed (minimum 30–40 wpm) with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving ability.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in data entry or clerical/administrative work.
  • Fresher candidates with good computer skills may also apply
  • Office-based role (Location: New Delhi).
  • Standard working hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday).
  • May require extended hours during peak workload.

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Salary Range: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and performance)..
  • Paid leave and company holidays as per policy.
